Automotive service stations were a vital service to the emerging automotive industry.
Not only did the service station dispense gasoline, many provided mechanical service
and automotive products.  A common phrase, as a service station employee or owner
came to the pumps was "fill 'er up?  Check your oil and water?".  The service station
became like the country store, a gathering place in the community for a lot of local
'bubbas' and many a world problem was solved there.

General locations are known for most of the stations.  If you know the exact location
and/or who operated the stations, please E-mail Kenny.
